Pre-Treatment Instructions

1. Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight for 1–2 weeks before your treatment. Use sunscreen (SPF 30+) if sun exposure is unavoidable.
2. Discontinue Certain Products: Stop using retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and strong exfoliants 3–5 days before treatment. Keep your skin hydrated with a mild moisturizer.
3. Avoid Other Skin Treatments: No chemical peels, microneedling, or lasers for 1–2 weeks before treatment.
4. Arrive with Clean Skin: Cleanse your face before your appointment to remove makeup and oils.

Post-Treatment Instructions

1. Immediate Aftercare: Mild redness or swelling is normal and should resolve within hours. Skin may feel warm or slightly sunburned.
2. Avoid Heat: Avoid hot showers, saunas, or strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
3. Sun Protection: Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen daily and avoid direct sun for 1–2 weeks.
4. Moisturize: Use a gentle moisturizer to keep skin hydrated.
5. No Harsh Products: Avoid exfoliating products, retinoids, or scrubbing for 3–5 days.
6. Makeup: Wait 24 hours before applying makeup to allow skin to recover.
7. Avoid Rubbing: Refrain from massaging or touching the treated area for at least 24 hours.
8. Monitor for Side Effects: Contact your provider if you experience excessive redness, pain, blistering, or signs of infection.

Results and Follow-Up

• Results: Gradual improvement occurs over 4–12 weeks as collagen production increases. A follow-up may be scheduled in 4–6 weeks to assess your results.
